World Heritage Sites

A World Heritage Site (WHS) is a monument, site or group of buildings judged to have outstanding global value by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). There are more than 750 World Heritage Sites globally, including the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids of Giza.

AHP has completed appraisals for a number of World Heritage Sites, including Liverpool's city centre and historic docks. We have also contributed to research into universal value for potential WHS bids for Manchester and Blackpool.
