Strategic advice
AHP offers advice to public sector bodies on a range of strategic heritage and building conservation issues, including grant programmes, listing and heritage protection, buildings at risk and other government or local authority heritage initiatives. For example, AHP recently produced a review of blue plaques for Manchester City Council, advising on the re-launch of the city’s heritage plaques scheme and providing research-based information for the Council’s website.
