These grade II listed houses, finished in c. 1890, were built as a speculative development for Earl Cadogan by architect William Young (1843-1900). They were built over the course of 10 years and are now regarded as a good example of the Queen Anne revival, with Dutch and Renaissance details.
AHP’s report, commissioned by Boyarsky Murphy Architects in February 2008, investigated the history of the design, building and development of numbers 54-56 Cadogan Square. The finished report was used to inform proposals for building work and refurbishment within the listed building.
