Other work

Apart from historical reports, conservation plans and area-wide appraisals, AHP carries out a wide range of historic environment consultancy work. Specifically, we undertake listing work for local authorities; provide historic building advice for private developers; and assess the success of grant programmes for historic buildings and areas.

Amongst our staff are those with experience as conservation officers and English Heritage historic building inspectors, and we offer a country-wide locum service for both roles. We are currently providing cover for a vacant inspector post in Manchester.
