Taking Stock surveys of Catholic churches
AHP has been working with Historic England and the Roman Catholic Church on Taking Stock, a programme which looks at all the parish churches within a diocese and assesses both their significance and their sensitivity to change. We have completed reviews for seventeen of the nineteen English dioceses, including Liverpool, Southwark, Westminster and Birmingham. This has resulted in a number of new listings and reassessment of existing listing grades.
Excerpts from our reports can be found on the Taking Stock website.
