Lambeth Palace

Lambeth Palace, London

AHP recently researched and wrote a conservation statement for Lambeth Palace, for Richard Griffiths Architects, the See House Agent responsible for the building's fabric.

Lambeth Palace is the official London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and was acquired by the archbishopric around 1200. Its buildings are a patchwork of historic architecture, from the oldest building - the medieval Early English Chapel - to early Victorian additions by Edward Blore.
