AHP’s directors all have wide experience of designation work, and the company has undertaken successful listing reviews for local planning authorities. This work is also related to local lists, either where no local list existed before, or because a review has highlighted the need to update an existing list. Our work for Stockport resulted in many new additions to the statutory lists and a robust Local List that contributed to Conservation Area designation in the borough.
AHP also often undertakes surveys on the basis of building type, either as part of a comparative study or on the basis of an area-wide review of, for example, places of worship in a particular diocese.
